Prominent local singer, Kurt Calleja approached DigiStrike for the design and development of his own personal website.
The singer who ranked third for Malta Song for Europe last year; was in need of a fresh website that promotes himself and his work online. The project allows Kurt Calleja and his team to manage the website using a state of the art Content Management System allowing them to create photo and video albums on the website to promote his songs and concerts more efficiently.
Kurt Calleja also required a tight Facebook integration allowing users to post comments using their facebook accounts rather then creating new accounts on the website; this also ensures that when fans comment they are also sharing their thoughts with their friends.
A contact form as well as contact details are essential for Kurt as people would seek to contact him in order to sing at certain events. This allows him to be easily in control of the personal details he makes available whilst still not missing out on requests.
Search Engine Optimization was also an important part of the work undertaken; to ensure that his website is one of the first to rank both for his personal name as well as services he offers. This ensures that people seeking a local singer or Kurt himself come accross his website and send the query to the right person instead of some fan-site or any other website.
